He was so kind to Alfie and explained everything to my mom (who is not vet trained) and did Alfie’s MRI there and then even though it was going to make it a late finish. I was squeezed in and was seen promptly by Sergio right after a long operation. I work as a registered vet nurse and had to come to Dovecote with my dog Alfie. Think ‘The Supervet’ and that’s the level of care and professionalism. Receptionists, physio, nurses and vets were all fantastic, every single member of staff is worth their weight in gold. Take the first exit from the roundabout and follow the road through Castle Donington until you come to another set of traffic lights. Follow the A453 past Donington Park racecourse and turn left at the traffic lights. Leave the A42 at J14 and turn left onto the A453 (signposted East Midlands Airport). Take the second right turn, at the top of the hill, into a service road which leads into our car park. Turn left at the traffic lights, into Delven Lane. ![]() Continue through the village until you come to a set of traffic lights. Follow this road into the village, taking the first exit from both of the two small roundabouts you will come to. Leave the A50 at J1 (B6540) and take the last exit from the roundabout, to Castle Donington on the B6540. At Junction 1 (the first large junction with a roundabout over the road) take the second exit to Castle Donington on the B6540. Take the A50 signposted Stoke on Trent and Derby. Where are we?
